How we handle your information

door to care ("we," "us," "our") operates this appointment booking and clinic management system for Dr. Beena Bansal's endocrinology practice. This policy explains what information we collect when you book an appointment or interact with this site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

02 - Information we collect

When you book an appointment, we collect:

• Your name and phone number (required)
• Your email address (optional, used to send booking confirmations)
• Visit type and any notes you choose to share for the doctor

If you visit the clinic and a receipt is generated, we also record the services or medicines billed and the payment method used. We do not collect or store payment card details ourselves — online payments, when enabled, are processed directly by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway.

03 - How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments
• Send you a booking confirmation and a link to manage or cancel your appointment
• Generate billing receipts for services and medicines provided
• Maintain clinic records for continuity of care

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing by third parties.

04 - How we protect your information

Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure database provider, with the following safeguards in place:

• All connections to our systems are encrypted (HTTPS)
• Access to patient records is restricted to authenticated clinic staff, tied to individually approved accounts
• We do not store passwords — staff sign in using their own Google account, verified against a pre-approved list
• Receipts and billing documents are kept in private storage and are never publicly accessible

05 - How long we keep your information

We retain patient and appointment records for as long as needed to provide ongoing care and to meet our record-keeping obligations under applicable healthcare and tax regulations. If you would like your records reviewed or removed, contact us using the details below.

06 - Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
• Withdraw consent for optional communications (such as email confirmations) at any time

07 - Third parties we work with

We use the following service providers to operate this system. Each only receives the information necessary to perform its function:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Resend — sending appointment confirmation emails
• Google — staff sign-in verification
• Razorpay — payment processing, when online payments are enabled
• Vercel — website hosting
